EASA Events & Training
Welcome to our Events and Training Registration section!
We have lots to offer that you can sign up for. Our training and events are usually free to attend for Enfield families, staff in educational settings and professionals in other Enfield services and organisations.
For Staff and Professionals
We have Autism Education Trust training modules to help you understand more about autism and related topics. These modules include lots of ideas and strategies you can use with autistic children and young people. We have separate modules for people working with early years children (0-5yrs), school-age children (6 – 16yrs) and post-16 young people.
For Parents and Carers
Parents and carers are also very welcome to attend all our Autism Education Trust training modules. Choose the ones that best suit you, based on the age of your child and topics you are interested in.
We also offer monthly Cuppa and Chat sessions, where you can come along and meet other parents and carers and talk to members of our team. These sessions are held at Russet House School on Thursday mornings (2nd week in the month for parents/carers of early years and primary-aged children; 3rd weekin the month for parents/carers of secondary and post-16 young people).
For parents of very young children (up to 3yrs 6mths), we have Time to Play sessions on the first Thursday of the month. These are for parents to attend with their young children.
For parents with children aged 11-17, we have Tree of Life therapeutic sessions and PEERS (abridged) sessions, which parents can attend alongside their older children/teenagers.
